I studied my major at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Fashion Design Department at Izmir Dokuz Eylul University. Shortly after my graduation, I established my own company and started making theatrical costumes.

As you already know, we have entered into a new era where world politics and hence world trade are quite challenging, upsetting and turbulent compared to previous periods.
My story of meeting with the textile industry started with my father. He is one of the old weavers of Bursa. After many years of experiences in the Hanlar region in Bursa, the capital of textile at a very young age, Meltam Tekstil was founded in 1990.
Ekoten Textile Industry Trade Inc. has started its textile journey from 1995 to the present day, in Torbalı headquarters building.
We closed the year, 2019 with $ 17.7 billion, which was below our expectations. Our target was around $ 18.5 billion.
The technology that is present in almost every aspect of our lives and the developments it brings along is rapidly transforming the whole world. Due to this swift transformation, different needs, fresh business lines, and new markets have emerged.

In fact, I am constantly trying to shoot in different ways with different methods. I think this quest for authenticity is composing my style
I think that creating your own style and manner is parallel to your vision and perception. As I’ve always said and actualized, doing a lot of research is its part of it. The more you fill your eyes and brain, the more your style of taste is shaped accordingly.
In fact, we bridge our roots to the present day and reinterpret our past by placing our value judgments on jewelry.
