We set out with the aim of inspiring the collections of world brands with our fabrics and we still conduct our works in parallel to this aim.
Could you tell us about your current structure and potential in fabric production as Seçen Textile? (Based on the countries your export to and your goals).
We set out with the aim of inspiring the collections of world brands with our fabrics and we still conduct our works in parallel to this aim. We prefer to work with customers who know what they want, are keen to move their brand forward, are curious, prone to teamwork and see Seçen Textile as a solution partner, not as a supplier. In this context, our customer portfolio mainly consists of; brands, designers, department stores and boutiques.
In particular, we support new world designers with the ability to make collections imagined by a separate team and a separate effort. We also support the new world designers to perform their collections they dream of with a joint team and effort.
Specializing in the design and production processes of natural 43 fiber fabrics for women’s wear with a quarter-century experience, Seçen Tekstil has an annual production capacity of over 2.5 million meters.
Obviously, we design life while living and experiencing it. To us, the design is beyond simply designing fabrics; it is actually designing the new world with all the cyclical processes of the company …
Our main markets in export are; Spain, England, Germany, Italy, Australia, Canada, Portugal, Brazil, Poland, Israel, and Russia. Additionally, among our target markets, we started to work on; there are America, Colombia, France, Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden.
What would you like to say about your product range and designs?
According to us, clothing is the way that people express themselves. With the fabrics we produce, we enable people to express themselves in the most authentic and most self-reflective way. In doing so, we realize our designs by focusing on the emotions and messages that people want to express.
This is exactly the reason why each of our designs has a unique story behind…
We may sometimes find ourselves inspired by the rhythm of nature, while some other time may be inspired by the wealth of history.
We may be inspired by the richness of the multi-cultural structure, while inspired by the possibilities of what this new technology could bring into our lives.
Obviously, we design life while living and experiencing it. To us, the design

Can you make an evaluation of Turkish fabrics and Turkish textile sector in general?
The geography we live in is a paradise harboring numerous advantages. To me, producing and creating things on this multicultural structure and the cradle of civilizations is synonymous with and tantamount to “Anatolia’’.
We reflect the creative energy coming from these genes to Turkish fabrics and Turkish textile products, which is our greatest strength.
We have signature and trace in world brands. It is a great pleasure to be able to convey this spirit and wealth to many countries of the world with our products; be it a fabric, a sewn product, an accessory, and a designed product. Turkish textile is a sought-after player in the international arena with its sustainable, advanced technology and integrated systems that respond quickly and harmoniously to the developing world trends. We believe that Turkish fabrics will continue to make the people of the world happy with this energy and glam as we keep whispering to more ears and keep branding in each step.
Could you give information about your R & D activities and projects in the field of sustainability?
If we had not invested in R & D and Technology so far, it would have been difficult for us to find a place in markets where competition is at its highest and competitors are so strong. The contribution of our investment in R & D and technology cannot be denied in taking the stage and getting into different markets in export.
We started to monitor our company with our ERP and MRP systems 5 years ago. We began to support it with a new CRM system. In the coming period, we move on by adding different automation systems. In addition, we renewed our machine park during this time. We plan to invest more ad more in new machinery this year. On the other hand, we will be able to take risks more easily with self-confidence due to accountability in production processes and will proceed with a flexible production approach. In a sense, we will realize our Digital Transformation.
R & D and new technology mean competitive advantage, speed, agility, and most importantly, SUSTAINABILITY. Take a look at today’s consumer shopping habits, you will see one thing which is the time for experiencing, consuming and buying a new product is diminished and shorten. The only way to challenge this speed is hi-tech.
On the other hand, as business owners, we should focus our energy on pursuing opportunities outside our borders, rather than controlling how things really go inside. In doing so, we must have an operation that we can monitor remotely. Technology in our mobile phones gives us the opportunity that we hope for today. Even our customers should be able to monitor our production processes through their devices. For the next 10 years, the most important title in our vision is SUSTAINABILITY. Our investments in technology will make us aware of producing fabrics with this philosophy. This is why we set out for the new era with the following vision statement; ‘Make the world more livable thanks to the design, humanitarian and technological experiences we create with our stakeholders in the new world’’.
