Could you tell us about the House of DIV brand’s name story and the process of establishment?
Becoming an architect was my childhood dream. My passion was my job in 2014 after working as an architect for a long time. Then I start to design jewelry. The Megaron symbol, which is widely accepted to represent the first human dwelling in architectural history, has been my starting point and building block. Signs of the megaron symbol can be felt in all my designs, logo, interior design of our store.
When you describe your style and designs, you express that you speak to those who know ‘ Silent Luxury’ . Could you explain the concept of ‘ Silent Luxury’ to our readers?
I think the meaning of luxury in the world has been changed. Most of customers care about details and look for difference. I enjoy being a part of the whole process, from the start of an idea to the establishment of the story. I believe that ‘ Everything made with love will sparkle.’ Sparkle, just like the meaning of DIV in the Sanskrit language.
You are inspired by architectural history, philosophy and symbolism while creating your designs. How do you balance these three areas in your designs ?
Let me try to explain this with an example. The Megaron, was the great hall in ancient Greek Palace complexes. It was a rectangular hall, fronted by an open, fireplace at the center and surrounded by four columns. It was so simple, just as much as we need. Megaron Collection was inspired by the layout of this, four walls, a door and a fireplace which is the hearth of home.
Could you tell us about the House of DIV’s private jewelry and special collections ?
House of DIV designs became charm symbols for many people due to the fact that each collection has a unique source of inspiration and behind the story. Custom designs makes me very happy. In this way, I have the chance to design very special and meaningful pieces for very special people.
What kind of products are in your collections ? What kind of materials do you prefer to use in your accesories and jewelry?
My ring designs are quite remarkable. Our Megaron ring is on its way to becoming an icon. Our jewelery is usually made with gold and diamonds.
Sometimes my designs whisper to me which precious stone is necessary.
How you evaluate the position of the jewelry sector in the future ? Could you tell us about House of DIV’s future goals ?
I believe that personalized, unique and iconic designs will be preferred. I hope that quality and content will stand out more than the quantity. We targeted all around the world for those looking for something beyond the jewel.
